Early Life

As a young girl, I watched and assisted my father in recovering from a terrible car accident which left him paralyzed from the waist down. In watching over him I had many bouts with boredom as he slept quite often. It was then my reading took hold and eventually my writing began to flourish. Just a few years later my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and yet again I found myself with free time to hone my writing skill, as I spent many hours sitting with her as well. She eventually lost her battle and passed away as I entered my early twenties. I used these negative instances to fuel my writings and produce some positivity in my life.
